Avanesyan on Calls for Government's Resignation
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, spoke with reporters after a government meeting regarding the criticisms directed at the authorities and whether they should resign.
The minister emphasized, "All governments succeed in some areas and fail in others. Elections are the mechanism through which the people assess whether the government has succeeded or not. The elections of 2026 will come, and our people will provide their evaluation."
When asked why the current government did not wait for the elections in 2023, Avanesyan responded, "I would remind you of the process of falsifications regarding all elections prior to 2018."
