The U.S. Expands Sanctions Against Iran
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has added one individual and four entities to its sanctions list concerning Iran, all of which are linked to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
This information has been released by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Treasury Department. The agency believes that the companies subject to secondary sanctions are "associated with Rayan Roshd Afzar, which has provided critical components for Iran's drone program."
The list also includes Afshin Kharej Fard, the head of Iran’s Aviation Industry Organization (IAIO).
