Court to Notify Hrant Margaryan and Vitaly Balasanyan
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the court in Yerevan will send notifications to former representative of the ARF Bureau Hrant Margaryan and former secretary of the Artsakh Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan, summoning them to appear in court and testify.
What criminal proceedings do they need to appear for? In 2023, ArmLur.am reported that Hrant Margaryan had been invited and interrogated by the NSS (National Security Service). According to our sources, he was summoned regarding a criminal case against reserve Colonel Norayr Aslanyan, who served in the Artsakh Defense Army and was the deputy head of the security department in the Artsakh Republic presidential administration.
It has become known that there were contradictions in the testimonies of Hrant Margaryan and arrested Colonel Norayr Aslanyan, suggesting that they need to confront each other.
It is also worth noting that "Zhoghovurd" reported that the former secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Vitaly Balasanyan, was also summoned to the NSS and questioned in the same criminal case. It should be added that Aslanyan is accused of the alleged illegal circulation of firearms and military ammunition.
