Ashot Harutyunyan, a supporter of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, has announced a hunger and thirst strike following his arrest. His initial six-hour detention period has expired. After this time, he could only be held if there was a valid arrest warrant. Despite the absence of such a warrant after the six hours, he has not been released.
