video: 'I Will Go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Get an Explanation': The March Led by the Archbishop Has Started
The march led by Bagrat Archbishop Galstanyan, the leader of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement, is heading to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to obtain certain explanations. This was stated by Archbishop Bagrat in the courtyard of St. Anna Church before the march.
On May 28, the archbishop announced that there would be no separate acts of civil disobedience today; they must stand together and have work to do. Cultural and public figures, opposition members of parliament, and parents of fallen soldiers are also present in the courtyard of St. Anna Church.
'I will go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to demand and get an explanation for everything that has happened, as well as to raise the question of whether the minister is giving orders or is being ordered himself... The police have placed themselves above the law in our country. If they call us scoundrels, it means they have given that definition to their masters as well, those who also blocked the streets in 2018,' the archbishop said.
He emphasized that the authorities of the Republic of Armenia must be forced to understand that everything is already under their control.
Currently, the march led by Archbishop Bagrat is moving towards the Ministry of Internal Affairs building.
