Several MEPs Call on Armenian Authorities to Refrain from Illegal Actions

Members of the European Parliament are urging the Armenian authorities to refrain from illegal actions. They made this statement collectively:

“We join the group of international NGOs and express our concern regarding the methods and haste of the border demarcation and delimitation processes occurring in Tavush province of Armenia between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, it is evident that the demarcation and delimitation are being carried out under the threat of aggression against the Republic of Armenia, which undermines the legality of the process. Sustainable and lasting peace can only be achieved in the absence of threats of force and the use of force.
