Anahit Avanesyan on Meeting with Archbishop Bagrat
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, is not planning to meet with Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement. She stated this during a briefing with government members.
"No, of course not. Why should I meet? I do not know what he is declaring. What solidarity, between whom? I have no purpose for a meeting," Avanesyan remarked.
When asked which church she follows, the minister replied that she is a follower of the Armenian Apostolic Church, but noted that Archbishop Bagrat is meeting not to discuss spiritual matters, but for other purposes.
It should be reminded that in recent days, Bagrat has been actively meeting with representatives from various sectors, including military personnel, doctors, cultural figures, and economists. At the same time, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement emphasized that he will only speak with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stating that the rest are merely touchpoints.
