Chances Are Not High: Statement from Ukraine

The chances of the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieving a breakthrough on the battlefield are small. This was stated by Oleksandr Litvynenko, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in an interview with the British publication Financial Times.

“This year, the chances of a breakthrough for Ukraine on the battlefield are not high,” he said, adding that “as long as we maintain our defenses, as long as we fight... we still have every opportunity to win,” according to the publication.

He also admitted that the development of Russia’s military-industrial complex has led to an increase in the production of cruise and ballistic missiles as well as drones in large quantities.

Earlier, David Kurten, leader of the British political party Heritage, stated that the advance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special operation zone has angered representatives of the Western media and political circles.
