The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, had planned to visit Armenia on May 19, but the visit has been postponed at the last minute. This was reported by TASS.
It was expected that Raisi would participate in the opening of transport corridors within the territory of Armenia, as conveyed by the media.
It is noteworthy that today the Presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan attended the opening ceremony of a dam built on the Araks River at the border between the two countries. However, on the way back, the helicopter carrying the Iranian president was involved in an accident.
