These 25 Hectares of Land Have Always Been Under Armenia's Control: A Resident of Kiran

These 25 hectares of land have always been under Armenia's control, with some parts being mined, some occupied by our armed forces, and others used by local farmers. This was stated by Kiran resident Gohar Vardanyan on her Facebook page, responding to the clarification issued by the Prime Minister's Office.

"In yesterday's statement distributed by the Prime Minister's Office, it is mentioned, 'The good news for Kiran is that about 25 hectares of agricultural land, which have been inaccessible to Kiran for the past 33 years, will be returned to the village.' To someone unfamiliar with the area, it creates the impression that this land was under Azerbaijan's control and will pass to Armenia as a result of delimitation and demarcation. However, these 25 hectares have always been under Armenia's control; some of the land has been mined, some is occupied by our armed forces, and others have been used by local farmers," she noted.
