Putin Explains Why He Appointed Beloусов as Defense Minister
The appointment of Andrey Beloусов to the position of head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is connected to an increase in defense and security spending in 2024.
This was explained by President Vladimir Putin in his decision. According to him, these expenditures will amount to approximately 8.7% of GDP.
The country's leader added that Beloусов has an excellent understanding of how to integrate the economy of the security sector into the overall economy of the country.
