Video: Auto Convoys Ongoing in Various Regions of Armenia
Auto convoys are currently underway in various regions of the Republic of Armenia. This information has been reported by the Telegram channel 'National Front.'
Convoys are taking place in the Ararat region, specifically in the Tigranashen area, in the Tavush region near Noyemberyan, and in Gegharkunik and Aragatsotn regions.
Since early morning on May 13, members and supporters of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement have been conducting acts of civil disobedience and awareness. Numerous streets in Yerevan have been closed.
It is worth noting that citizens dissatisfied with the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border had been protesting for an extended period in the Tavush region. On May 4, members and supporters of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement decided to march from the village of Kirants to Yerevan. They reached the capital on May 9, when a rally took place at Republic Square, where the movement's leader, Bishop Bagrat, gave Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan one hour to resign, a demand that was not met.
Afterward, he called for peaceful acts of civil disobedience to commence throughout the republic starting May 10. Today, members of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement have blocked more than 20 streets in the capital since early morning. Citizens have been conducting acts of civil disobedience and awareness in various parts of Yerevan.
