Citizens Block Streets Following Bishop's Call
This morning, streets in Yerevan are being blocked upon the call of Bishop Bagrat of the Tavush Diocese. During a rally held yesterday, he urged for 'total strikes and blockades to paralyze the entire city and various regions of Armenia' starting from 8 AM, expressing dissent against deceit and evil.
He also mentioned that tomorrow morning he will visit various creative unions including the Writers' Union, Artists' Union, National Academy of Sciences, History Institute, and others.
The bishop called on those who wish to support the cause to come, register, and volunteer. ‘Many people have joined us in these days. I am confident that when our plans become concrete regarding the issue of distrust and the candidate for prime minister, we will have several hundred thousand here,’ he stated.
