Gathered Together, They Come to Save Those They Consider "Scum," "Turks," and "Genetically Deficient": Konyan
The head of the Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, Hayk Konyan, made a post on his Facebook page.
“All those who publicly called the people "scum," "Turks," and "genetically deficient" in the past four years have now gathered together and are coming to save those whom they consider "scum," "Turks," and "genetically deficient." This is akin to cursing someone but convincing yourself that you are praying for their salvation. What that salvation will look like for the people and the state can be inferred from the vocabulary used by these so-called saviors towards the public.
Of course, such salvation does not threaten the people. Later, new curses will echo towards the public about why the people withdrew and were not saved. The reason is love. More precisely, the lack of love for one’s own people. Because love cannot be filled, you cannot bring it to the square by buses, nor can you prevail during a crisis. Love either exists or it doesn't. And people can feel that.
When you learn to love the people, then salvation will come by itself. And it will come first for you, because it is you who needs salvation. If you are not loved, that is why you do not love,” he wrote.
