Russia Welcomes Scheduled Meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Almaty: Zakharova
Russia welcomes the scheduled meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Almaty on May 10. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We are ready to continue supporting the advancement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process," she stated.
Zakharova also reminded that today there will be a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. She noted that issues related to ensuring peace, stability, and security in the South Caucasus are on the agenda of the negotiations.
It is worth noting that the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold talks in Almaty on May 10.
