The presence of dust and mud in the capital is also attributed to violations of established standards and inadequate equipment at construction sites. This was announced by the Yerevan Municipality, noting that during an inspection by the public order protection service in the Kentron and Arabkir administrative districts, various violations were recorded.

“Devices preventing dust emissions have not been used at construction sites, and sand piles have not been covered with appropriate impermeable sheeting,” the statement said.
