Turkey Increases Pressure on Israel: Erdogan
Turkey is increasing pressure on Israel, with Ankara prepared to use all means necessary to ensure that the Tel Aviv administration is held accountable before the law. This statement was made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“We are escalating the pressure to force Israel, which is becoming increasingly bloodthirsty, to cease fire. We have imposed restrictions on the export of 54 goods. As of last week, we have halted all exports and imports. We will use all our resources to ensure that those who have encroached upon the lives of 35,000 brothers and sisters face the law,” Erdogan stated.
It should be noted that last week, Turkey's Ministry of Trade confirmed a complete halt of trade with Israel. The minister clarified that the measures will remain in place until a ceasefire is declared in the Gaza Strip.
