Organizers of the Nagorno-Karabakh Operation Want to Implement the Same in Armenia, Vahagn Aleksanyan
I want to reiterate from the podium of the National Assembly what happened in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by the deputy from the ruling party Vahagn Aleksanyan in parliament.
“The organizers of the Nagorno-Karabakh operation are currently trying to implement the same operation in Armenia in one way or another. I should mention that the organizers are not in Armenia. Regarding Nagorno-Karabakh, the Prime Minister stated that if we lower the bar concerning the status, we will achieve international consolidation. A meeting of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan should have been organized on a European platform, during which they should have tried to reach a peaceful settlement. The powers that various individuals serve in Armenia did not allow the representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh to go to Sofia, showing disdain,” he noted.
According to Aleksanyan, the building of the Nagorno-Karabakh National Assembly is currently destroyed due to the actions of these people. People were gathering, making toasts, and we knew what was happening there. “Remember those demanding resignations, some of whom are now in prison in Baku, I say this with sorrow. They elected their representative, who was the most acceptable to the Russian side. I haven’t been the only one consuming the pieces from the Russian embassy, and there have been people who have been involved in their distribution; the distribution has reached large scales in Armenia. Never, not once, has there been a Nagorno-Karabakh issue; it has been an issue of Armenia,” emphasized Vahagn Aleksanyan.
He noted that currently some march is ongoing, with Armenia standing on one side, represented by someone wanting to include it in a union state, and on the other side, represented by someone wanting to hand over the Zangezur corridor.
“I am forced to state that the next Russian movement is doomed to failure,” concluded Vahagn Aleksanyan.
