Peskov Comments on Allegations of Russia's Use of Chemical Weapons
Allegations that Russia has used chemical weapons against the Ukrainian armed forces are unfounded. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, during a briefing with journalists.
“We have seen the news regarding this. As always, such accusations are absolutely baseless and are not confirmed in any way,” said Peskov, commenting on the statements from the United States that Russia allegedly used chloropicrin against Ukrainian forces.
Peskov emphasized, “Russia has been committed and remains committed to its obligations under international law in this field.”
