Pashinyan Discusses Housing Assistance Program for Displaced Persons from Artsakh
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a consultation took place at the government office, during which issues related to the housing assistance program for forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh were discussed.
Officials noted that the draft program had also been reviewed with representatives of beneficiaries, civil society, banks, and construction companies.
The conference addressed the possibilities of issuing certificates for residential house acquisition, certificates for constructing individual residential houses, assistance for repaying existing mortgage loans, and granting rights to residency in the social housing fund.
Questions were raised regarding the number of participating beneficiaries in the housing assistance program, their current distribution, conditions of support, and the timelines for phased implementation of the program.
An exchange of interested ideas took place, with various proposals being presented. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of consistently taking steps to resolve the housing issues of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh and highlighted the necessity of revising the draft based on the proposals submitted.
