Discussion Highlights Between Mirzoyan and Klaar
The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, and the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, have discussed the latest developments in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
"The interlocutors also discussed key agenda items concerning the partnership between Armenia and the European Union," the statement said.
It was previously reported that Klaar was received by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan.
It is worth noting that the commissions on the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border agreed on April 19 to start delimitation from the Tavush region. The description of the respective sections of the border will be compiled taking into account the clarification of coordinates resulting from geodetic measurements in the area, which will be formalized in an appropriate agreement-description to be agreed upon and signed by the parties by May 15, 2024.
