The Investigative Committee of Russia reports that urgent investigative actions have been carried out by investigators of the capital's investigative committee in connection with the case regarding the murder of a young man by an Azerbaijani citizen in southeast Moscow. During a search of 21-year-old Shahin Abasov's apartment last night, a large amount of cash was discovered and seized, totaling over 44 million rubles and 300,000 US dollars.
It is noted that the investigation will confirm the ownership of the funds and assess the legality of their acquisition and circulation.
Reportedly, Abasov is wanted by authorities. According to investigators, on Wednesday, the 21-year-old Azerbaijani parked his car at the entrance sidewalk of one of the houses on Krasnodarskaya Street in Moscow.
