Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan: How Many Flights Have Been Operated This Year
In the first quarter of 2024, a total of 12 flights have been operated on the Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan route. This information was provided by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.
“Specifically, there were 2 flights in both January and February, while March saw a total of 8 flights,” the response indicated.
The flights are operated using L-410 type aircraft, with a flight duration of 45 minutes. During this period, 41 passengers traveled from Yerevan to Kapan, while 55 passengers made the journey in the opposite direction.
The ministry has no information regarding the potential implementation of flights to Iran.
It is noteworthy that the first flight on the Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan route took place on April 26 of the previous year and was of a technical nature. Commercial passenger transport began on August 21, operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
