Video: Historical Armenia Does Not Recognize the Territorial Integrity of Actual Armenia, Says Pashinyan
The process of demarcation and delimitation between historical and actual Armenia is not proceeding any easier than the demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a speech on the implementation of the government program for 2023 in the National Assembly.
“To be honest, the demarcation process between actual and historical Armenia is proceeding much more painfully also because this process occurs within each of us and reveals unexpected layers and nuances,” he noted.
The Prime Minister emphasized that historical Armenia does not recognize the territorial integrity of actual Armenia, as this integrity limits the historical Armenia and does not provide it the opportunity to manifest itself.
Nikol Pashinyan pointed out: “Whether intentionally or not, historical Armenia resonates with a number of countries that have aspirations towards the sovereignty, independence, and territories of actual Armenia, as the territorial integrity of actual Armenia, the internationally recognized border, is similarly a limiting factor for the appetites of those countries.”
