It's Only a Matter of Time: Elon Musk

American entrepreneur Elon Musk referred to a tragedy of the same scale as the September 11 attacks on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon as just a matter of time, amidst the backdrop of rising migrant influxes in the US.

On the social media platform X, Musk commented on a post by businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who stated that the US would pave the way for another tragedy of the scale of the September 11 attacks if the crisis at the southern border remains unresolved. He highlighted that even if only 0.1 percent of illegal migrants had hostile intentions, that would amount to tens of thousands of potential wrongdoers.

“It’s only a matter of time,” Musk wrote in response to Ramaswamy’s post.

The US is experiencing record levels of illegal migration, with border patrol agents recording 302,000 illegal crossings in December 2023 alone, marking the highest number in a single month. Additionally, authorities are tracking record numbers of illegal immigrants in all three years of Joe Biden’s presidency.
