Fire at Oil Factory Owned by Samvel Aleksanyan
Today, April 9, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:20 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting a fire in a warehouse located at 89 Artashisyan Street.
According to Shamshyan.com, the fire broke out on the roof of the former oil factory. Before firefighters arrived, factory employees attempted to extinguish the flames, successfully preventing the fire from spreading. Firefighters then proceeded to extinguish the fire.
The factory is owned by former MP and businessman Samvel Aleksanyan. The fire was declared to have a “BIS 1” level of danger on site.
