Pashinyan Proposes Installing Valves on Fountains
It may be a small matter in terms of overall volume, but I consider it very important culturally. Regarding fountains, why don't we regulate that fountains operate with valves? This is also a change in our attitude towards water,
stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a discussion on the report of the Water Committee's activities for 2023. “This means not banning the existence of fountains, but there is a culture in the world that requires mandatory valves on them. We need to determine some horizon, after which fountains will simply not be able to operate without valves. There are many questions that need to be resolved with a change in our perception, but we need to work consistently, because if we merely acknowledge that this is the case and do nothing, it will remain that way,” he said.
