Urgent Meeting Called on Border Demarcation Issues: 'Hraparak'
The parliamentary opposition, represented by the 'Armenia' and 'I Have Honor' factions, has convened an urgent meeting regarding border demarcation and delimitation issues. This is reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
According to the parliamentary regulations, urgent meetings can be held during regular parliamentary sessions at the request of a quarter of the deputies. The opposition has decided to hold this urgent meeting during the first main session of the upcoming four-day session that starts on April 9. They plan to invite Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who coordinates the work of the Armenian side of the Armenian-Azerbaijani commission on demarcation and delimitation, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan as the main speakers.
The opposition believes that the statements made by the Armenian authorities regarding the ongoing processes in Tavush indicate that these processes will be conducted in violation of international norms and the requirements of the Armenian Constitution.
