Operation of Fuel Stations Halts in Regions
Operation of three fuel stations has been suspended in the Ararat, Lori, and Gegharkunik regions. This was reported by the press service of the Inspection Body of Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety of the Republic of Armenia.
Under the directives of the head of the Inspection Body, a monitoring was conducted at the fuel station located at 42 Yerevan Highway in the town of Yeraskh, Ararat region, to assess compliance with the requirements of normative-technical documentation.
“The investigation revealed that the fuel station was operating without registration in the registry of hazardous production facilities and without a positive conclusion from the annual technical safety examination,” the Inspection Body reported.
It has been reported that the head of the Inspection Body made the decision to suspend the operation of the fuel station, and it has been dismantled through the community.
Investigations were also carried out regarding compliance with normative-technical documentation at fuel stations located at 2 Margahovit St. in Lori region and at 177 5th St. in Gegharkunik region.
