EU Mission in Armenia Reports No Unusual Movements at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
The EU monitoring mission has observed no unusual activity at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border today. This information was shared via the mission's X microblog.
“We have been monitoring the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan all day; everything is calm, and no unusual occurrences have been detected,” the statement read.
Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, also noted on his X microblog that he is pleased to receive confirmation from the EU observers that everything is peaceful at the border. He emphasized that this is the main objective of the monitoring mission.
It is worth noting that today the Ministry of Defense of Armenia refuted the claims made by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, which indicated that the Armenian Armed Forces were allegedly carrying out troop, armored vehicle, artillery, and other armament movements in various directions along the border zone.
