Warning About Fraud Activity from Police
The National Police of Armenia is warning about a new fraud scheme.
“Be careful, it’s a fraud! In recent days, many citizens have received SMS messages from Armenian phone numbers offering online jobs, promising earnings of up to 20,000 AMD per day. The contact person presents themselves as a representative of an American organization that operates worldwide, including in Armenia.
We warn that this is misinformation. By filling out your personal information, you will become a victim of fraud and may incur financial losses. We urge anyone who comes across such information to call the National Police’s hotline for internet fraud at 011525252,” the message states.
