Borders between Russia and Ukraine have changed, everyone will have to take it into account: Peskov
The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which could be interpreted as a possibility to negotiate with Russia over a return to the 1991 borders.
Peskov stated that since the start of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the geopolitical situation and the borders of both countries have changed. According to the Kremlin representative, everyone will have to take this into account.
“The geopolitical situation has fundamentally changed, and the borders of both Ukraine and the Russian Federation have also changed. We have four new subjects, and this cannot be ignored; it is a new reality that everyone will certainly have to take into account,” said Peskov.
