VIDEO: Khachanov and Rublev Hold Charity Match for Artsakh Residents in Los Angeles
Russian tennis players Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev held a charity match in Los Angeles for families displaced from Artsakh. According to the Armenian Report, the event took place at the UCLA tennis complex, organized by the Homenetmen Glendale Ararat amateur sports club.
Before the match, Khachanov and Rublev joined scouts who carried the flags of Armenia and Artsakh onto the court alongside the flags of the United States and California. The two Russian tennis stars expressed that their long-standing friendship unites them, which was evident from their playful banter during the match.
In a tough contest, Karen emerged victorious with a score of 6:3, 4:6, 10:8. However, the real victory was the over $100,000 raised to support the families of Artsakh refugees.
