Pashinyan Receives Leadership of 'MTS Armenia'
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today received Konstantin Sokolov, shareholder of 'MTS Armenia', and Tigran Gasparyan, chairman of the board of 'MTS Armenia'. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
The discussions revolved around the activities and future development of 'MTS Armenia' LLC, in which 20% of the shares have been donated to the Government of Armenia. The parties emphasized the consistent development of 'MTS Armenia', which operates in a strategically significant sector, and the ongoing improvement of service quality.
It is noteworthy that on January 25, 'MTS Armenia' issued a statement indicating that it is transferring 20% of its shares to the Republic of Armenia free of charge.
On January 24, it became known that the company will cease to be part of the Russian 'MTS' Group. The new shareholder of the company is 'Fedilco Group Limited', whose owners are European and Asian investors.
