The Same Organizers of the Protests Had Leverage in Artsakh, Resulting in Very Tragic Outcomes: Chakhoyan
As much as the government wants to solve the social and housing issues of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh, our capabilities are still limited. They are constrained by the budget collected in the form of taxes. This was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
“In addition, besides the forcibly displaced from Artsakh, there are also citizens of the Republic of Armenia whose pensions, benefits, salaries, healthcare, educational, and even housing problems must also be addressed, along with the country's security issues. By giving in to various political provocateurs, going out into the streets, and holding protests, the forcibly displaced from Artsakh will create more problems than they will solve for themselves. The same organizers of these protests previously had all the leverage to address issues in Artsakh, and the outcome was very tragic. Now they are trying to do the same in Armenia,” he wrote.
