VIDEO: Armenia to Send Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, Says Nikol Pashinyan
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made statements for media representatives during a joint press conference. Pashinyan announced that Armenia is saddened by the fact that tens of thousands of innocent victims have fallen due to the escalation of military operations in Gaza.
According to him, Armenia has experienced the calamity of attacks on civilian populations and infrastructures and joins the calls of the international community for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
“In this regard, we highly appreciate the steps taken by Egypt to ensure the uninterrupted entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, to accept injured Palestinians, and to evacuate foreigners. We also discussed and have a need for the support and advice of our Egyptian partners regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and I thank President al-Sisi for his readiness to assist in this matter. Our foreign ministers will be dealing with this issue,” said Pashinyan.
Regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, he stated that Armenia has always supported the principle of “two states” adopted by the international community.
