Iran's Foreign Minister Announces New Chapter in Relations with Azerbaijan
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated during a meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister that a new chapter in the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan has opened, inspiring hope for both nations, and that there are significant opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
According to TASS, he remarked, "Azerbaijan holds an important place in Iran's regional policy, and apart from neighboring and historical ties, the two peoples also have familial connections. Fortunately, a new chapter has opened in the relations between the two countries, which inspires hope for both peoples, and significant opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation are emerging for both nations."
