Azerbaijan's 8 Villages Remain Under Armenian Occupation: Hajiyev
During the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Hikmet Hajiyev, the foreign policy aide to Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, responded to comments made by Ruben Rubinyan.
"We see positive developments in the peace agreement. The Republic of Armenia's Declaration of Independence and its preamble, as well as Armenia’s position in the International Court, continue to assert claims over Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and these are issues that demand answers. Furthermore, 8 villages of Azerbaijan remain under Armenian occupation. But we must move forward step by step. Again, the peace agreement should be a bilateral process within the framework of regional security," he stated.
