Let a single letter from Serzh Sargsyan be published, if possible: Office of the 3rd President of Armenia
During the Q&A session between the National Assembly and the government yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated from the parliamentary podium: “Serzh Sargsyan could have written letters to the government constantly regarding his everyday issues after his resignation, but he could not write ‘government, you are facing an imminent disaster…’” 168.am inquired from the office of the 3rd President of Armenia regarding what kind of letters Serzh Sargsyan had written and about which everyday issues Nikol Pashinyan was speaking from the parliamentary podium.
In response, Serzh Sargsyan's office stated: “The person occupying the position of Prime Minister and his political servants have again resorted to their usual tricks during the staged Q&A session with the National Assembly on February 28: lying, manipulation, and distortion of facts. Serzh Sargsyan has never written any letter to the government regarding his everyday issues after his resignation. Let a single letter from Serzh Sargsyan be published, if possible. As for the letter attributed to the team, if it pertains to the correspondence organized merely for resolving certain organizational issues within the functions of the office of the 3rd President of Armenia with the representative of that liar’s staff (by the way, at his suggestion), then exploiting that in an absolutely different context is shamelessness.”
They also inquired about what “disaster” Serzh Sargsyan mentioned during his second candidacy for the position of Prime Minister and why, since 2018, he has not informed the people and the government of Armenia about this “disaster” as Nikol Pashinyan declared from the parliamentary podium. The office of the 3rd President of Armenia responded: “You and your colleagues regularly have the opportunity to ask questions to President Serzh Sargsyan. We suggest you take advantage of the first such opportunity and ask President Sargsyan about it. He will gladly answer all your questions.”
