No Clarity Yet on Armenia's Position, Says Peskov
No clarity has yet emerged regarding Armenia's position on leaving the CSTO. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, during a conversation with reporters.
“No, there is still no clarity. Here, we have quite frequent communications with our Armenian colleagues. Of course, we will clarify. If we refer to the relevant documents, then such a regime does not exist regarding the CSTO. We will communicate and clarify,” Peskov told journalists.
It is worth noting that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on February 23 that Armenia's participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is frozen.
