Ukraine is now closer to NATO than ever before. This was reported by 'РБК-Украина', citing NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during a message to Ukrainians at a telethon.
He indicated that Ukraine's membership in the alliance is no longer a question of 'if,' but 'when.'
'Russian President Putin started this war because he wanted to close NATO's doors and take away Ukraine's right to choose its own path. But he achieved the opposite result. Ukraine is now closer to NATO than before. Ukraine will join NATO; it is not a question of 'if,' but 'when',' Stoltenberg stated.
