Armenian Security Council Secretary: Azerbaijan's Acquired Weapons Are Not for Regional Stability
Azerbaijan's acquired weapons are not meant to stabilize the region. This statement was made by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan.
According to him, this issue has been discussed multiple times. “We have also suggested that we establish mechanisms for arms control because arms control can be part of the process of establishing stability and long-term peace in the region,” he said.
Armen Grigoryan also announced that a new meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan is being planned. “Following the meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Aliyev in Munich, an agreement was reached for the foreign ministers and deputy prime ministers to meet. This is currently under discussion,” he stated.
