Iran Calls for Restraint from Armenia and Azerbaijan
Iran is concerned about the rising tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan along their border. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani, who urged both sides to resolve their disputes peacefully.
Kanaani called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to exercise restraint following border clashes that resulted in several casualties and injuries. He emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy are the only paths leading to stable and lasting peace. Additionally, he urged both parties to accelerate their efforts to reach a peace agreement.
