Armenia Transfers Minefield Information to Azerbaijan, Media Reports
Armenia has provided Azerbaijan with 8 new information bulletins regarding minefields in Nagorno-Karabakh. This has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
According to the same sources, the bulletins mainly consist of records about the minefields surrounding the Mravi mountain range in the Karvachar region. On January 25, the Armenian National Security Service (NSS) announced that the 8 new bulletins concerning minefields in the LAC area would soon be transferred to the Azerbaijani side through working channels. It was noted that copies of these documents would also be provided to international partners.
According to the NSS, the new bulletins were discovered through inquiries among former military personnel in the LAC, which resumed after Azerbaijani media reported several incidents where civilians had sustained injuries from mine explosions.
