Video: Footage of Knife Attack at ‘Megamall’

It was reported yesterday that a knife attack took place at one of the shopping centers in Yerevan. Police discovered blood-like traces and clothing in the food court area on the second floor of ‘Megamall’. Prior to the arrival of emergency services, security staff provided assistance to the injured individual, who had sustained multiple stab wounds to different parts of his body.

According to G. Shamshyan, the man was in that location with his wife and child when the attacker approached him and, without saying a word, delivered 3-4 stabs with a sharp object before fleeing the scene.

The footage was shared on Facebook by user Anna Oganesova. Earlier, Auroranews had contacted the ‘Megamall’ shopping center, where they informed us that, thanks to the security staff, medical assistance was timely provided to the victim before the emergency services arrived at the scene. The situation has been brought under control, ensuring the safety of other visitors and customers of the shopping center as well.
