Government Launches Total Offensive Against 'Mother Armenia' Faction: Statement

The political activities of the 'Mother Armenia' faction are disrupting the current government's agenda, which is guided by the dictates of Aliyev. This statement was released by 'Mother Armenia'.

"The Nikol-inspired government has launched a total offensive against the 'Mother Armenia' faction in the Yerevan City Council. They resort to despicable measures, employing various methods. On one hand, there are threats and persecution against individual members, while on the other hand, there is an initiative to deprive four members of their council mandates. Tigran Avinyan, who unlawfully took over the mayor's powers, should focus solely on the issue of his own removal, rather than initiating an extraordinary session regarding the deprivation of mandates from council members.

We note that the political activities of 'Mother Armenia' are disturbing the current government, which follows Aliyev's dictated agenda. This once again demonstrates that there is no alternative to a comprehensive agenda for a change of power," the statement concludes.
