Construction of New Nuclear Power Plant Begins in Iran
A new nuclear power plant with a capacity of 20,000 megawatts has begun construction in Hormozgan province in southern Iran, according to Irna. The ceremony for the plant's construction took place in the city of Sirik during the visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
The Vice President and head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, was also present at the ceremony.
