VIDEO: Can Citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey Purchase Real Estate in Armenia? The Head of the Cadastre Committee Responds

After a government meeting, journalists asked the head of the Cadastre Committee, Suren Tovmasyan, whether foreign citizens, including those from Azerbaijan and Turkey, can acquire real estate in our country through the same procedures.

Tovmasyan responded that there are restrictions on purchasing real estate in Armenia only for agricultural land. “Citizens and legal entities of other countries cannot buy agricultural land. In all other cases, the procedure is the same. Anyone can apply and conclude the relevant transaction,” he stated.
