Two Ships Collide Near the Shores of Istanbul
Near the shores of Istanbul, in the Sea of Marmara, two ships have collided, according to Denizhaber, citing the Turkish Coast Guard Command.
The incident occurred on the night of January 23. The colliding vessels are the cargo ships Volgo Don 207 and Astrid L. It is reported that the first ship is 138 meters long, while the second one is 147 meters.
The Coast Guard emphasized that no one was injured as a result of the incident. Experts have also stated that there has been no negative impact on the environment from the collision.
