NATO Calls for Preparedness for Military Operations
NATO's Military Committee Chairman Rob Bauer has urged the transformation of the Alliance's readiness in response to the rising global tensions. Opening a two-day meeting in Brussels, he stated that the organization must prepare for an era when "anything can happen" and "when we must expect the unexpected," as reported by European Pravda.
In order to be fully effective in the future, NATO's capability transformation is necessary, Bauer emphasized. He noted that more needs to be done militarily to achieve the collective defense the Alliance desires. A key factor in this regard will be the collaboration between the public and private sectors of the economy.
"To strengthen our collective defense while simultaneously supporting Ukraine in its existential struggle, we need a community-based approach," Bauer said.
